Ami Patel + Lisa Sargiotto = APLS
Our story begins back in 2011. Ami was one of 12 people Lisa had to interview with to land a project management/operations role. Ami was in the trenches of SEO, and Lisa was thrown in to oversee and establish processes for all fulfillment departments, which included improving client relationships.
We grew at the company together. Rapidly going deeper into various facets of digital marketing, sales, employee development, and operations, while working directly with many well-known brands - including Fortune 100 and 500 companies. We made many mistakes along the way, but continued learning, reflecting, and holding ourselves accountable.
Ever since the beginning, we loved working together to tackle complex problems, using data and context to understand the story and uncover the right questions to ask to make informed decisions. If there was ever a project or problem that was hard to crack, the two of us were put on the case to solve it.
By the time 2017 rolled around, we had held the top two leadership positions for over a year, and got the agency back on the profitability path. And when the agency was acquired, we both decided to try something different, by taking an eternal break from the agency world, as well as our working relationship.
But that wasn’t the end…
Our working relationship and solid friendship transformed into a lifetime partnership. Having known the best and worst work versions of each other, and still wanting to spend time together at the end of the day, we dated for only 2-years before getting married in 2019.
Fast forward to 2020 and APLS as a business was born. We decided to combine our 20+ years of experience to help organizations that wanted to be helped. Our comprehensive background equips us to train, strategize, and apply fundamental principles across diverse industries. We break silos, connecting disparate pieces to foster cross-functional thinking.
